Loxeal 18-10 Liquid Pipe Sealant 50ml

Description
Anaerobic adhesive for sealing metal threaded connections. Suitable for gas, LPG, compressed air, gasoline, oil, industrial fluids, CFCs, water, and various chemicals. The low friction coefficient allows for easy assembly. The thixotropic property prevents the sealant from migrating out of the threads before or during curing. It replaces P.T.F.E. tape and thread. The cured product forms an elastic film resistant to shock and vibrations, with sealing properties that remain intact within a temperature range of -55 to +150°C. Easy disassembly is ensured, even after years.

Approved for natural gas and LPG in vapor form:

• Europe: Approved according to EN751-1 by DIN-DVGW NG 5146AR0574 from -20°C to +150°C up to 2" pipe size.
• Australia: Approved by AGA No. 5047 up to 5 bar and 2" pipe size.

Curing Performance
The curing speed depends on the assembly gap, the material of the surfaces, and the temperature. Functional strength is usually achieved within 1 to 3 hours, with full curing taking 24 to 36 hours. On passive surfaces and/or at low temperatures, fast curing can be obtained using Loxeal Activator 11.
