Loxeal 55-03 Medium Strength Thread Sealant 50ml

Anaerobic adhesive with medium strength for locking the threads of nuts and bolts of all types that require disassembly. Suitable for use on oily surfaces. The adhesive is highly resistant to heat, corrosion, vibrations, water, gas, oils, hydrocarbons, and many chemicals. Proven resistance to loosening at +200°C. Approved as a gas-tight seal for threaded connections according to the European standard EN 751-1 (DVGW and GAZ DE FRANCE). WRAS-approved, making it suitable for contact with drinking water. Complies with the UBA declaration (German Environment Agency) for use with drinking water. It retains its sealing properties between -55°C and +200°C, and up to +250°C for short periods.

Curing Performance
The curing speed depends on the assembly gap, the materials, and the temperature. Functional strength is usually achieved within 1 to 3 hours, with full curing taking 24 to 36 hours. On passive surfaces and/or at low temperatures, faster curing can be achieved using Loxeal Activator 11, although its use may reduce the final strength.
